Over a period of 9 months. It’s a long and interesting story and without Jared and his team, I am doubtful we would have accomplished our goals as well as we have. We first came to Collin County TX from the San Francisco for 3 weeks last Thanksgiving, to scout out the area to see if we would be comfortable living here. While we were here, we interviewed a number of different Real Estate Agents. We immediately found that Jared Tye and his team were our best fit. Jared then assigned Jose Campos, one of his top agents to be our primary contact. Jared and Jose both promised to see us through every step of the way, (a long process) from selling our home back in the Bay Area, through the move to Plano, through living in a temporary townhouse for 6 months and searching for our retirement home, to the actual selection, bidding and eventual purchase of our new home. Jared and Jose were both very patient with our many questions, with our doubts and fears, and our hopes and dreams. We were able to rent a townhouse in Plano for 6 months, while we were still back in San Francisco, with the expert help of Jose Campos, who scouted out the property for us to see if it would be acceptable. He eventually picked up our keys and delivered them to us, because we were arriving on a Sunday afternoon after driving 4 days from San Francisco and the management office was not open. Jared and Jose setup a customized search for us that showed new homes coming to the market every day in our desired area and price range. They allowed us to move at our own speed in going to open houses and eventually selecting the home we purchased. However, after a few months, when I eventually found a home with an upcoming open house that looked like if actually fit all of our requirements, our agent, Jose Campos told us directly that we should move quickly and not wait for the weekend to go to the scheduled open house. He arranged a private viewing of the home a day before the open house. His insight proved exactly correct. Because of the location of the home and the house itself, it turned out to be very popular, even in these challenging times. There were many couples and families at the open house on the weekend. The home was listed on a Wednesday, with an open house on Saturday & Sunday, they took final offers that Sunday evening. A time span of 5 days. In the end, there was a bidding war for the home – it is a very desirable home, in a wonderful location – I think 4 or 5 families made serious offers. Jared and Jose both advised us in making our initial offer. They contacted the listing agent at the last possible moment before the deadline, to try to determine if our offer would or would not be competitive and they then advised us on setting our initial offer price. They then helped us through counter offers, eventually winning the home for us. We closed 3 days ago. My wife and I can both highly recommend Jared Tye and his “Buy With Tye” team, and in particular Jose Campos, the Real Estate Agent who directly helped see us through this entire process through from beginning to end. Jose Campus (and Jared Tye) actually negotiated the deal behind the scenes that won the property for us. We are happy. We are located in exactly the neighborhood we wanted when we first came here last Thanksgiving and scouted the area.
